虐待儿童，简称虐儿、虐童，是指对儿童的虐待，也是家庭暴力的一种。

持有监护权的成人，对于受扶养的未成年亲属，对于其饮食、教育、医疗、衣物、卫生……等基本需求，刻意忽视。特征是明显的营养不良、不合身的衣物、学龄儿童未去学校……等。如导致儿童死亡，将涉及刑责。

对于儿童，踢、踹、捏、打耳光、拉耳朵、拉头发、鞭打、捆绑、香烟烫伤，与过度的体罚。施暴者往往声称只是在管教小孩。但是导致儿童严重受伤或死亡，将涉及刑责。施暴者的施暴行为，往往不是一次性的，因此受虐儿童的身上常会有异常数量的外伤与旧伤痕。为了遮掩伤痕，受虐儿童常无视气候变化，终年穿着长袖衣裤。施暴者在儿童就医时，常捏造其外伤发生的原因与病史，以规避责任。
