尚州市

尚州市（朝鲜语：상주시），又称三白（指的是稻米、蚕茧、和柿饼），是大韩民国庆尚北道西部的一个城市。面积1,254.82平方公里，2007年人口107,266人。

早期为沙伐国，后并入新罗，设沙伐州，后称尚州，为新罗九州之一。庆尚道的「尚」字即取自这里。1986年设市。

Although Sangju is rather rural, it is very old and was once a key city. Along with Gyeongju, it gives rise to half of the name of the Gyeongsang provinces. Sangju is nicknamed Sam Baek, or "Three Whites", referring to three prominent agricultural products rice, silkworm cocoons, and dried persimmons from the area.
