Potštejn

Potštejn (German name was Pottenstein) is municipality, Hradec Králové Region in Rychnov nad Kněžnou District. From the end of the 19th century till 1924 the name Potštýn nad Orlicí was used.

The name of the municipality was derived from name of castle with the same name, which was called by its founder Půta (Puota) of Drslavic: Puota's stone, Puttenstein, misspelled as Potštejn.
