桃儿七（学名：Podophyllum hexandrum）是喜玛拉雅山周边低地的多年生草药。它们低垂在地面，呈光泽绿色。在少有的枝上长出有裂的叶子，花朵呈淡粉红色，果实呈鲜红色。其外观适合配衬在林地式花园。它们可以经由种子或分裂根茎来传播。它们可以忍耐寒冷的天气，但不能抵御干旱。

桃儿七是有毒的，但处理过后会有医药疗效。根茎包含有树脂，可以从中抽取鬼臼树脂。它们传统上会用来清洁肠道及催吐、舒缓感染及坏蛆伤口、并减慢肿瘤的生长。盾叶鬼臼是它们的北美洲变种，但其毒素较低。

Sinopodophyllum is an herbaceous perennial plant in the family Berberidaceae, described as a genus 1979. It includes only one known species, Sinopodophyllum hexandrum, native to Afghanistan, Bhutan, northern India, Kashmir, Nepal, Pakistan, and western China (Gansu, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Sichuan, *****, Yunnan). Common names include Himalayan mayapple and Indian may apple.
