足蛋白(podocin、nephrosis 2, idiopathic, steroid-resistant)即肾脏的组成肾元之肾小体内的鲍氏囊上之足细胞裂隙隔膜(slit diaphragm)的蛋白质成分。肾小球毛细血管内皮细胞，肾小球基底膜及裂隙隔膜充当的肾小球滤过屏障。 足蛋白基因NPHS2的突变能引起肾病症候群(NS)，如局灶节段性肾小球硬化症(FSGS)或微小病变(MCD)。

Podocin 足蛋白Podocin is a protein component of the filtration slits of podocytes. Glomerular capillary endothelial cells, the glomerular basement membrane and the filtration slits function as the filtration barrier of the kidney glomerulus. Mutations in the podocin gene NPHS2 can cause nephrotic syndrome, such as focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) or minimal change disease (MCD). |
