模拟器，或仿真器（英语：Emulator），其软件称为仿真软件，是指主要透过软件模拟硬件处理器的功能和指令系统的进程使计算机或者其他多媒体平台（掌上电脑，手机）能够运行其他平台上的软件。任何操作环境原则上可以模拟任何其他的操作环境。

在自动化技术、化学工程中同样使用模拟器这一术语。模拟器多用于电视游戏和街机，也有一些用于掌上电脑。
