Parmotrema

Parmotrema is a genus of lichen belonging to the family Parmeliaceae. The genus was circumscribed by Italian lichenologist Abramo Bartolommeo Massalongo in 1860.

Members of the genus are commonly called ruffle lichens or scatter-rag lichens.
