Oxycyte is an experimental third-generation perfluorocarbon (PFC) therapeutic oxygen carrier invented by Leland Clark and developed by Oxygen Biotherapeutics, Inc. (OBI; formerly Synthetic Blood International). It is designed to enhance oxygen delivery to damaged tissues.
