源义经（平治元年－文治五年闰四月卅日，即1159年－1189年6月15日），为日本平安时代末期，出身于河内源氏的武士，家系乃清和源氏其中一支，河内源氏的栋梁源赖信的后代，世世代代在东国武家人材辈出。为源义朝的第九子，幼名牛若丸（うしわかまる）。

父亲源义朝在平治之乱中为平清盛所败后，源义经在7岁时被送到京都鞍马寺学习。之后他投奔奥州，受到奥州藤原氏当主藤原秀衡的庇护。及长，源义经与兄长源赖朝一齐举兵讨伐平家，在著名的战役源平合战中战功彪炳，威名显赫。但也因功高震主为源赖朝所猜忌，最终兄弟反目成仇。源赖朝得到后白河法皇的院宣后，在全国发布通缉命令追捕义经。义经在走投无路之下再度投靠藤原秀衡，最后在高馆自尽。

Minamoto no Yoshitsune(源 義経, 1159 – June 15, 1189) was a general of the Minamoto clan of Japan in the late Heian and early Kamakura period.
