釜石市（日语：釜石市／かまいしし）是日本岩手县东南部的一市。旧上闭伊郡、气仙郡。该城市为日本近代钢铁工业发展的重要城市，极盛期曾达到9万人口，但在钢铁厂关闭后，人口回落至今。于2011年3月11日发生的大地震中，因受海啸袭击，部分地区被水淹没。

Kamaishi(釜石市,Kamaishi-shi) is a city located on the Sanriku rias coast in Iwate Prefecture, in the Tohoku region of northern Japan. As of September 2015, the city had an estimated population of 35,308 and a population density of 80.2 persons per km. The total area was 441.43 square kilometres (170.44 sq mi).
