Phil Joanou

Phil Joanou (born November 20, 1961 in La Cañada Flintridge, California) is an American film director and music video director.
He is best known for his collaborations with the rock band U2, some of the music videos he has directed for the band include "Bad", "One", "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" and "Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own". He directed the rockumentary film Rattle and Hum (1988), which documented U2 on their Joshua Tree Tour.
