吉布提共和国（阿拉伯语：جمهوريه جيبوتي‎；法语：République de Djibouti；阿法尔语：Gabuutih）是一个位于非洲东北部亚丁湾西岸的国家，北与厄立特里亚为邻，西部、西南及南部与埃塞俄比亚毗连，东南同索马里接壤，东北隔着红海的曼德海峡和也门相望。
其东临红海进入印度洋的要冲曼德海峡，因此战略位置十分重要，国内有美军在非洲最大的军事基地和法军在海外最大的军事基地，日本自卫队和*****也计划在吉布提创建自己的军事基地。但其国内自然资源贫乏，工农业基础薄弱，加上政局不稳，所以是世界上最不发达国家之一。

Djibouti (/dʒɪˈbuːti/ ji-BOO-tee; Arabic:جيبوتي‎ Jībūtī, French:Djibouti, Somali:Jabuuti, Afar:Gabuuti), officially the Republic of Djibouti, is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea in the north, Ethiopia in the west and south, and Somalia in the southeast. The remainder of the border is formed by the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden at the east. Djibouti occupies a total area of just 23,200 km (8,958 sq mi).
