离子交换技术或称离子色谱法，是将两种电解质间做离子的交换，或是在电解溶液和配合物之间的交换。最常见到的例子是使用聚合物或矿物用来纯化、分离或净化纯水和其他离子溶液。其他的例子有离子交换树脂，功能化多孔或凝胶聚合物）、沸石、蒙脱石、黏土和土壤中的腐殖质。
