霍夫曼窑

霍夫曼窑（Hoffmann kiln），又译作八卦窑或蒸笼窑，最常用于烧制砖头及其他陶质制品。它是由德国人佛德烈曲·霍夫曼（Friedrich Eduard Hoffmann）于1856年改良设计，1858年5月27日获得专利的一种窑，所以以其姓氏为名。这种窑在霍夫曼取得专利后被用于烧石灰，并以「霍夫曼连续窑」（Hoffman continuous kiln）之称闻名。
