赫德岛和麦克唐纳群岛（英语：Heard Island and McDonald Islands，简称：HIMI），南冰洋无人居住的荒岛，1947年起纳入澳洲海外领地，1997年获选为世界自然遗产（亚洲、大洋洲地区）。

赫德岛以南约1600公里达南极洲边沿。除去南极洲和面积小于1000平公方公里的岛屿不算，赫德岛方圆3700公里内都是海洋，不见陆地。岛上拥有比较稀少的原始状态岛屿生态系统，其中大本山的莫森峰海拔2745米，是澳大利亚最高峰。

赫德岛80%都为冰川覆盖，麦克唐纳岛的火山沉睡了75000年，于1992年再次喷发，最近一次是2005年8月10日，火山喷发几乎摧毁了岛上所有植被。但喷发也使岛的面积提升到2.45平方千米。

The Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands (abbreviated as HIMI) are an Australian external territory and volcanic group of barren Antarctic islands, about two-thirds of the way from Madagascar to Antarctica. The group's overall size is 372 square kilometres (144 sq mi) in area and it has 101.9 km (63 mi) of coastline. Discovered in the mid-19th century, they have been territories of Australia since 1947 and contain the only two active volcanoes in Australian territory. The summit of one, Mawson Peak, is higher than any mountain on the Australian mainland. They lie on the Kerguelen Plateau in the Indian Ocean.
