格奥尔格·弗里德里希·韩德尔（德语：Georg Friedrich Händel，1685年2月23日－1759年4月14日），巴洛克音乐（Italian Baroque）的作曲家，创作作品类型有歌剧、神剧、颂歌及管风琴协奏曲，著名作品为《弥赛亚》，亨德尔出生于德国，后来定居并入籍英国，他的名字亦改为英语化的乔治·弗里德里克·韩德尔（英语：George Frideric Handel）。

亨德尔的风格明显受到意大利巴洛克风格的作曲家以及德国中部传统复音音乐的影响。音乐家温顿·迪恩认为：「从亨德尔的歌剧中可以看出他不只是位伟大的作曲家，也是第一流的剧作家。」。在歌剧《亚力山大的盛宴》（1736）受到好评之后，他将合唱部份翻译为英文。在《弥赛亚》（1742）成功之后，韩德尔没有再写过意大利文的歌剧。他在英国最后的十五年几乎盲目，是一个受尊重及富有的人，最后在1759年去世，他的葬礼有许多国家级的荣誉，安葬在西敏市圣彼得牧师团教堂。

George Frideric (or Frederick) Handel (/ˈhændəl/; born Georg Friedrich Händel, German pronunciation:[ˈhɛndəl]; 23 February 1685 (O.S.) [(N.S.) 5 March] – 14 April 1759) was a German, later British baroque composer who spent the bulk of his career in London, becoming well known for his operas, oratorios, anthems, and organ concertos. Handel received critical training in Halle, Hamburg and Italy before settling in London in 1712; he became a naturalised British subject in 1727. He was strongly influenced both by the great composers of the Italian Baroque and the middle-German polyphonic choral tradition.
