嫁接为植物在园艺中所使用的其中一种繁殖方法，即将植物体的一部分固定在另外一个植物体上，使其组织相互愈合，培养成独立的个体。母体被称为砧木，嫁接的幼枝被称为接穗。

如果被移植生命体部分的新载体同原来的载体差异很大，则这种移植一般叫做嫁接，例如将苹果树的枝嫁接到桃树上。
