焰色反应

焰色反应，或称作焰色测试及焰色试验，是化学上用来测试某种金属是否存在在于化合物的方法，该反应为物理变化。

其原理是每种元素都有其个别的光谱。样本通常是粉或小块的形式。以一条清洁且对化学惰性的金属线（例如铂或镍铬合金）盛载样本，再放到本生灯的无光焰（蓝色火焰）中。

由于钠的金黄色火焰容易盖过其他金属的焰色，所以常用钴蓝玻璃观察其他金属的焰色。
