Feminist geography

Feminist geography is an approach in human geography which applies the theories, methods and critiques of feminism to the study of the human environment, society and geographical space. Most professional geographers do not consider the sub-discipline to be a serious line of scholarly inquiry. Not only do they consider it to be a misuse of spatial reasoning within Feminist theory but also to be a methodology that has never made significant contributions to the study of human relationship to the environment.
