扁桃

扁桃（Prunus dulcis），又称巴旦木（来自印度英语Badam），是梅亚科李属的一种植物。不同于同属李属的李子、樱桃等水果，扁桃主要用作食用的部份是其内果皮中的种子（果仁），也是常见的坚果。这种植物原产于伊朗，中国早在唐朝时期的《酉阳杂俎》、《岭表录异》中就对“偏桃木”有所记载。

扁桃分甜苦，甜味扁桃（Prunus dulcis var. dulcis）和苦味扁桃（Prunus dulcis var. amara）。
