Educa

Educa is a software company founded in 2009 by Nathan Li in Wellington, New Zealand. Educa provides a web-based eportfolio of a child's growth and development at early childhood centres. Using Educa, educators post learning stories securely online, informing parents and extended family via email/mobile app when a new story is available. Educa was specifically designed for early childhood education centres using recommendations from early childhood teachers and parents. The online portfolio links parents and early childhood teachers as they share in a child's learning journey and provides valuable feedback. Educa tracks a child's progress with national curriculum including Te Whāriki, the New Zealand Early Childhood and Primary Curriculum and Australian Early Childhood Curriculums. Educa's online portfolio allows the extended family (known as whānau in New Zealand) to stay up-to-date with their child's learning.
