After you select the published e-form, you see the e-form within the Workplace Forms Viewer (see figure 5), and it is ready to be completed.

Whenever you submit an e-form, the e-form is only visible to you and to the user who approves your e-form, if workflow is enabled.

The global custom URL property is defined at the beginning of the e-form as shown in listing 8.

NOTE: After the e-form template is published to the server (described in the next step), this URL value contains a full URL.

However, before activating encryption, the e-Form program will save an additional non-encrypted copy of the completed e-Supplementary Form.

Let's say that you're the first user to submit a multi-signature e-form.

If you modify the design of the Purchase Orders e-form, you can publish a new version of the por. xfdl e-form.

Add users to the Editor role who should have access to your published e-form.

Enter the file name of the new e-form to be published.

When the e-form is approved, it moves to the main folder created when the e-form was first published.

Install the e-Supplementary Forms by double-clicking the downloaded e-Form template.

Enter data into the e-form, click the Buyer's signature button, and then choose Submit.

The default value is the e-form that was opened when you chose "Publish to document library, " in this case, por. xfdl.

Log in using the user name and password used to publish the e-form.

You can select the submitted e-form por(submitted). xfdl to view its contents.

You can store and archive entire e-form records, and parse data for later reuse.

To modify the e-form name, double-click the Product Request Form label.

Notice that the e-form now contains data from the first and second users.

Automatic generation of values is also done using compute statements in the e-form.

In fact, you can create an e-form from an existing paper form, using a feature called template image.

Those blind and vision impaired can also access the e-Form system with the use of braille machine or voice synthesizer devices.

When you publish the por. xfdl e-form, it displays in the Pending Drafts folder.

When you submit the por. xfdl e-form, it displays in the Pending Drafts folder.

Click OK when the warning dialog displays to overwrite the existing e-form.

For now, figure 1 shows the sample e-form, which you can download, that was created with Workplace Forms Designer.

Now that you have set access control for the e-form, you can test your changes.

Before starting, you need an e-form template.

When the second submitted e-form is approved, it overwrites the first submitted e-form.

You can go to the Submitted Forms folder to see the new e-form.

Click Publish to publish the e-form on the server.

Enter the folder name to store the new e-form.

Enter data into the e-form.

Now the second user can see the first e-form you submitted.

In the Submitted Forms folder, you find the e-form you have just submitted (see figure 6).

Open the submitted e-form.
