On the next page of the wizard, select the Choose my own primary key option, choose CustomerID from the list, and then click Next.

This component determines whether the customer with the given customerID is in good standing.

You designate _CustomerID and _City fields for private storage.

To keep the application simple, the record with a Customer ID of 1 is updated to contain the specified XML each time a survey is saved.

firstName, lastName, and customerId will provide string values that will populate customer summary controls shown on the page.

In the Add Field or Group dialog box, set the Name property to CustomerID, and then click OK.

Click Insert object field and select CustomerID from the list of event fields, as shown in Figure 6.

Again, both "customerID" elements are returned by the search query, as search always returns the complete XML document.

The call to the stored procedure takes in two runtime parameters, the customerid and the insurance XML.

Now you can query the to-do task by the the new custom property, customerId, to meet the new requirement.

Add an input, change the name to customerID, and leave the type as string.

Here, XMLExists determines if the "CustomerID" value in one target source is equal to a value derived from another target source.

A sender is also generated by the EMS tooling with an orderBook method that a client can invoke passing the title, author, and customerID.

The CustomerID is a foreign key pointing to a customer record in the Customers table.

This is a simple transform that copies the customerID for the current iteration into the service invocation message.

Both queries return the desired "customerID" element of the customer who has made the particular comment.

The Customer ID column is used to show the number of customer records per profession.

As in the previous example, CustomerID relates the Customers table to the Orders table.

Each record in the Orders table includes a CustomerID indicating which customer placed the order.

First select the field element and wire it to the target CustomerID element.

When presenting a list of Orders (from the Orders table) you may want to display the actual customers name, as opposed to the CustomerID.

In the Orders table, each order can have only one customer, related to the Customers table on the CustomerID field.

You designate the CustomerID property as representing a primary key column in the database.

The following example determines the average weight of products shipped to a company that has a CustomerID of '123'.

Recall that the XML column in the "items" table contains a "CustomerID" element.

The example also shows a SELECT statement with OPENXML that retrieves CustomerID and OrderDate from the XML document.

Drag the main Customers node from the Data Sources window directly onto the CustomerID combo box on Form1.

Over the customerId property, add the @Id annotation (Figure 31).

For this walkthrough, you have to map the Original_CustomerID argument to the CustomerID (Original) property.

Because the value requested for CustomerID does not exist, the subquery returns no value and the variable is set to NULL.

This assumes that all the rows in the Orders table have a CustomerID value that exists in the parent Customers table.

The query against the Store table returns no rows because the value specified for CustomerID does not exist in the table.

You need to add a new custom property called "customerId" to support the new query requirement.

The ShopBean bean has a sellBook method that takes a title, author, and customerID as parameters and returns a confirmation message.

Listing 8 shows how to extract the customerid from the XML and use it to create an update SQL command for the database.

Repeat step b to define the other data fields that are retrieved by key customerID. Figure 23 shows how to define the other data fields.

In the Value Member drop-down box, select the column (for example, CustomerID) to perform the lookup operation in the child table.

Enter a value in the CustomerID field.

However, what can you do to retrieve the single "customerID" you are looking for?

Select the same property of the child table that is the Value Member of the parent table (for example, Orders. CustomerID).

This means that you have to pass to the query not only the customerid but also the insurance rates.

For example, based on the customerID field of the event, the address field is computed using a SELECT statement against a database table.

For example, you want to query the process instance by customerId instead of orderNo.

Open the two data files Customer001. xml and Customer002. xml and note the Customer IDs that will be loaded.
