A Data View inserted as a view allows you to format the presentation of data, but not to edit the data itself.

If the Data View has no sort order, you must first create one to make available the options under Group Properties.

The Web service protocol data view enables you to view the XML documents that form Web service calls and message returns.

Notice that the Predefined Data View window includes a brief description to help novice DB2 users understand how this will help them.
