conditional formatting

This document shows a technique in which two dimensional sources can be compared to one another using a union and conditional formatting.

Conditional formatting allows you to selectively highlight certain data on your form or report so that it is easier to understand.

You can define parameters to support conditional formatting or to use in expressions or code.

You must use an expression instead of a field value to apply conditional formatting if any of these conditions are true.

Conditional formatting enables you to quickly and easily color - code your information based on parameters that you set .

The dialog is similar in behaviour to the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager discussed in an earlier post.
