T1 Weighted images

We describe a case of diabetic muscle infarction which had atypical features of hyperintensity of the affected muscle on T1-weighted images.

MR imaging showed the lesion to have low signal intensity on T1-weighted images and intermediate signal intensity on T2-weighted images.

On the sagittal non-contrasted T1-weighted images, there is no posterior pituitary bright spot noted in the sella.

MR imaging revealed that the gallbladder wall was diffusely thickened, and the tumor showed slightly high-intensity on T1-weighted images.

Imaging findings include an absent or hypoplastic anterior pituitary gland, most conspicuously seen on sagittal T1 or T2 weighted images.

On spin echo T1-weighted images, the lesion revealed low signal intensity similar to muscle.

In this case, the very high signal in both lesions on the T1-weighted images suggests fat content.

The tumor revealed an inhomogenous enhancement pattern on T1-weighted images after contrast medium.

This lesion had diminished signal on T1-weighted images and heterogeneous mixed signal on T2-weighted images.

after Gd-DTPA injection it enhanced in homogeneously on T1-weighted images with fat suppression.
