saith

Saith he, If it be well weighed, to say that a man lieth, is as much to say, as that he is brave towards God, and a coward towards men.

Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

John 1 : 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

And I will strengthen them in Jehovah; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith Jehovah.

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? Saith the LORD.

for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith Jehovah.

Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me.

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

For thus saith the Lord to me: As he hath taught me, with a strong arm, that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying.

And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.

Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.

Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples?

Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

For thus saith Jehovah: Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread out his wings against Moab.

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.

And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

And Agrippa [said] unto Festus, I also could wish to hear the man myself. To-morrow, saith he, thou shalt hear him.

Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.

And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.

And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

Thus saith the LORD , Learn not the way of the heathen , and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them .

therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the [son] of Alphaeus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

ERV: and he looked upon Jesus as he walked, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God!

And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad.

Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus , saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.

ASV: And the king said, Whosoever saith aught unto thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee any more.

There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

For thus saith Amos: Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall be carried away captive out of their own land.

and he looked upon Jesus as he walked, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God!

Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts to the pillars, and to the sea, and to the bases, and to the rest of the vessels that remain in this city.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me?

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no.

His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen , which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.

And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

Shall I not visit them for these things? Saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Not for your takes do I [this, ] saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

And as for you, O my flocks, thus saith the Lord God: Behold I judge between cattle and cattle, of rams and of he goats.

And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

And afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD.

[ kjv ] in that he saith , a new covenant , he hath made the first old . now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Thus saith the Lord: Take heed to your souls and carry no burdens on the Sabbath day: and bring them not in by the gates of Jerusalem.

Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.

And he saith to me: See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren, who have the testimony of Jesus. Adore God.

And Solomon, I am sure, saith, It is the glory of a man to pass by an offence.

First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.

But Jesus, not heeding the word spoken, saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe.

But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Behold I will set my face upon you for evil: and I will destroy all Juda.

Do they provoke me to anger? Saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

For thus saith the Lord: You were sold gratis, and you shall be redeemed without money.

And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth.

And as Paul was about to be brought into the castle, he saith unto the chief captain, May I say something unto thee?

And of them also will I take for priests [and] for Levites, saith Jehovah.

And he cometh unto the disciples, and finder them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.

As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.

And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant.

And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.

And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Jesus saith unto them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?

Nahum 1: 12 Thus saith Jehovah: Though they be in full strength, and likewise many, even so shall they be cut down, and he shall pass away.

but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

And he that saw [it] bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

And a Redeemer will come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Jehovah.

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me.

So saith Solomon: "Where much is, there are many to consume it; and what has the owner, but the sight of it with his eyes? "

And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.

To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: When He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "Be, " and it is.

For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the LORD is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion .

Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.

And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to.

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith Jehovah.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

Thus saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me.

Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

On the morrow he was minded to go forth into Galilee, and he findeth Philip: and Jesus saith unto him, Follow me.

Then will I make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord Jehovah.

For David ascended not into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign?

And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.

The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.

Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers?

Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Thus saith Jehovah, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast.

Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.

For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch.

Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

But yet the spirit of Job was in a better tune: Shall we (saith he) take good at God's hands, and not be content to take evil also?

She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.

For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

And when he was come, straightway he came to him, and saith, Rabbi; and kissed him.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.

For thus saith the Lord God: Bring a multitude upon them, and deliver them over to tumult and rapine.

You shall read(saith he) that we are commanded to forgive our enemies; but you never read, that we are commanded to forgive our friends.

I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD.

And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.

Remember, our weapons are spiritual, not fleshly . not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts?

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord God: In that day projects shall enter into thy heart, and thou shalt conceive a mischievous design.

He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

and afterwards it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith Jehovah.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

He findeth first his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being interpreted, Christ).

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

He that saith he is in the light and health his brother, is in the darkness even until now.

And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.

The Lord GOD, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

She saith to him: Say that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy kingdom.

For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, saith Jehovah.

Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.

Thus saith the Lord: after this manner will I make the pride of Juda, and the great pride of Jerusalem to rot.

For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

And he saith to him: Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? But he was silent.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant .

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.

And after the sop, then entered Satan into him. Jesus therefore saith unto him, What thou doest, do quickly.

Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD, him that offered in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.

Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?

Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?

thou shalt be built no more: for I Jehovah have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the foolish prophets that follow their own spirit, and see nothing.

And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also?

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

neither will I hide my face any more from them; for I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.

though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord Jehovah.
