Replicates created as part of the realization of a replicate template are created as mastered replicates and grouped as a replicate set.

A template is an extension to the replicate set concept to help customers setup massive replication systems.

The name of a replicate set that is generated by a template is the same as the name of the template.

This automatically determines the parent and child relationship between tables, like specifying an exclusive replicate set.

A replicate set combines several replicates to form a set that can be administered together as a unit.

Monitoring replicate set tasks: Monitor the progress and results of check, check and repair, and synchronize tasks for replicate sets.

This relationship is maintained during initial synchronization and when starting the replicate set.

A template defines a group of master replicates and a replicate set.

For best performance, you should specify the same number of processes as the number of replicates in the replicate set.

This command defines the empty master replicates internally and also defines a replicate set (replset) on the specified tables.
