Philippians

The Son had left his place in heaven and humbled himself in obedience (Philippians 2: 6-11).

From Japan, S. Korea, India, down to Vietnam, Australia & the Philippians, Chinese increased defense budgets have been sounding alarm bells.

Philippians 1 : 14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

The Philippians were the only ones who supported him after leaving town. In fact, they wanted to give more but didn't have opportunity.

In Philippians, Paul commends two of his colleagues as true heroes of the faith.

Notice the Philippians verse also says, "By prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. "

Paul knew God but still prayed that he might really "know Him" ( Philippians 3: 10).

'At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth . . . ' (Philippians 2: 10).

Philippians chapter 2 tells us in very descriptive words how He was exalted and sits at the Father's right hand.

i. Philippians 2: 13, It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

So at the name of Jesus we bend the knee and confess that he alone is Lord (Philippians 2: 9-11).

"God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him" (Philippians 2: 13 NLT).

In Philippians 3: 20, Paul declared that all believers are citizens of heaven and should live worthy of their new address.

It talks about people who "may attain to the resurrection from the dead" ( Philippians 3: 11, New King James Version).

Philippians 1 : 30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.

Philippians 4: 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

His actions demonstrate what Paul wrote in Philippians 3: 7, "What things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. "

The day will come when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord and King (Philippians 2: 10-11).

Philippians 4: 13 - I can do everything through God who gives me strength!

Philippians (Phil) 4 Phil 4: 20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever.

Here again Philippians 3: 21 helps us. They will be real flesh-and-blood bodies.

Philippians 4: 6-7 describes the attitude you should have when you listen to God's voice.

Philippians 1 : 8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1 : 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
