Heb. 8: 4 Now then if He were on earth, He would not be a Priest at all, there being those who offer the gifts according to the law.

Heb. 4: 1 Let us fear therefore, lest, a promise being left of entering into His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.

Heb. 1: 13 But to which of the angels has He ever said, 'Sit at My right hand until I set Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet'?

Heb. 6: 13 For God, when He made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, swore by Himself.

Heb. 2: 18 For being tempted in that which He Himself has suffered, He is able to help those who are being tempted.

Heb. 4: 10 For he who has entered into His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His own.

Christ does battle with "the word of God" which is said to be sharper "than any two- edged " sword (see Heb. 4: 12).

Heb. 6: 8 But if it brings forth thorns and thistles, it is disapproved and near a curse, whose end is to be burned.

Heb. 3: 1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus.

He noted that heroes of the faith never lost sight of the fact that they "were strangers and pilgrims on the earth" (Heb. 11: 13).

Heb. 1: 5 For to which of the angels has He ever said, 'You are My Son; this day have I begotten You'?

Heb 10: 38 Now the just shall live by faith, but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Heb 4: 15 For we have not a high priest not able to sympathise with our infirmities, but tempted in all things in like manner, sin apart.

Heb. 13: 2 Do not forget hospitality, for through this some, without knowing it, have entertained angels.

The Bible not only has diverse genres, it was written by diverse human authors "in many times and in many ways" (Heb 1: 1).

Heb. 5: 11 Concerning whom we have much to say that is also difficult to interpret since you have become dull of hearing.

Hebrews (Heb) 11 Heb 11: 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

Heb. 13: 13 Let us therefore go forth unto Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

Heb 13: 18 Pray for us, for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Heb. 7: 15 And it is still more abundantly evident since it is according to the likeness of Melchisedec that a different Priest arises.

"For we which have believed do enter into rest" (Heb. 4: 3).

It is very important in our Christian experience to know that Christ is able to sympathize with our weaknesses (see Heb. 4: 15).

Heb. 3: 9 Where your fathers tried Me by testing Me and saw My works for forty years.

Even Jesus Christ went through sufferings to "learn obedience" as a Son (Heb. 5: 8).

Heb. 13: 6 So that being of good courage, we say, 'The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear. What shall man do to me? '

Heb. 12: 29 For our God is also a consuming fire.

Heb. 3: 5 And Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of the things to be spoken later;

Heb 3: 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart;

Heb. 1: 7 And of the angels He says, 'Who makes His angels winds and His ministers a flame of fire';

Heb 12: 13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way;

"There remaineth, therefore, a rest to the people of God" (Heb. 4: 9)

WE read of Moses, that "he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. " (Heb. 11: 27)
