alter mode

The designer now automatically goes in alter mode and allows you to alter the object just created.

After completing the alter operation transaction, the server unsets the alter mode (if alter mode was set as part of the same transaction).

Alter mode is a new state of a replicated table.

To set or unset the alter mode on a table, use the CDR command-line interface.

In this mode only DDL and select operations are allowed. No insert, update, or delete operations are allowed in alter mode.

To determine whether the table is in alter mode, use the oncheck -pt[T] command.

DML operations cannot be performed while the table is in alter mode.
