These are all words for things or activities used to entertain people when they are not working. 以上各词均指休闲、娱乐或相关活动。

recreation or relaxation? 用 recreation 还是 relaxation？

Both these words can be used for a wide range of activities, physical and mental, but relaxation is sometimes used for gentler activities than recreation. 以上两词均可指各种体力和精神活动，但 relaxation 有时指较 recreation 轻松的活动：◆I play the flute in a wind band for recreation. 我在管乐队吹长笛消遣。◆I listen to music for relaxation. 我听音乐放松心情。
