Snake venom metalloproteinase is one of the main function proteins in snake venom. It directly affects the interactions between capillaryendothelium cells and basement membrane in local tissues.
The results showed that the capillaryendothelium and their tight junctions were partly destroyed and their permeability were significantly increased to lanthanum nitrate and methyl methacrylate.
结果显示,肺毛细血管内皮细胞及其细胞紧密连接明显破坏,其对硝酸镧及甲基丙烯酸甲酯的通透性显著增加。

Another barrier to water-soluble drugs is the glial connective tissue cells (astrocytes), which form an astrocytic sheath close to the basement membrane of the capillaryendothelium.
