To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fireon top of themountain.
耶和华的荣耀在山顶上，在以色列人眼前，形状如烈火。

The LORD wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you onthemountain, out of thefire, on the day of the assembly. And the LORD gave them to me.
耶和华将那大会之日，在山上从火中所传与你们的十条诫，照先前所写的，写在这版上，将版交给我了。

These are the commandments the LORD proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there onthemountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more.
