Two-thirdsof U.S. consumers have yet to finish their holiday shopping, and 41 percent expect to finish at least a week prior to Christmas, according to a new survey.

Although European nations generally do well in the survey, the continent's major industrial powers of France, Germany and Britain finish 25th, 26th and 29th respectively.
The survey did find that people are bad about precooking food and then not cooling it properly before they finish cooking it; 27 percent reported not storing precooked foods in the refrigerator.
