To discover performance advantages of modified elliptical bearing, traditional elliptical bearing and cylinder bearing are compared with it under same conditions.

In this paper, the influence of installational displacement on the static and dynamic characteristics of the elliptical bearing is analyzed by the numerical calculation method.
