The article introduced the experiment of the settling mode for suspended solids in cyanide waste water and its application to pretreatment of cyanide waste water in ammonia plant.

The Gold Smelter through technical reform of washing system achieved zero discharge of cyanide-bearing waste water.

In future waste water will be utilized in circulation, the final goal is to achieve zero discharge of phend-cyanide-containing waste water.
