It was found that these three compounds can induce the differentiation of HL-60 cells in vitro, judged by cell growth inhibition, morphologic observation and NBT reduction ability.

Altogether, these data suggest that IL-6 is involved in the immunoregulatory mechanism mediated by MSC through a partial inhibition of DC differentiation but is probably not the main mechanism.
