The corrosion behaviors of A3 steel in eutrophic water and clean water were studied by locale corrosion specimen and experiments in simulant condition.

Fractured surface scanning observation showed that the breakage in specimen resulted from the corrosion tunnels generating along slip planes and being torn by tensile stress.

The flow state within the corrosion fatigue crack and the influence of other parameters on the flow velocity for compact tension specimen were discussed according to the model.
