This pre-conversion is critical for maintaining color state through transitions of different frames as their portions are blitted to the buffer and, eventually, the screen.

So once I chose my favorite FBX files I simply hit the Conversion button at the bottom of the screen and specified an output directory and new file name.

If the application is done with a different architecture (for example, a green-screen application running on text terminals served by a backend system), then total conversion does not make sense.
