A study was conducted under general field condition to controlpollination so as to investigate the dynamic of soluble sugar and starch in the cob and silk of two varieties corn.
These results showed that the period of 3rd-4th year after grafting is key since the orchard was entering the age of full production. It is also important for practice of controlpollination.
