A method for deriving the smoothed ground surface from CMP datum of staticcorrection is given to form a common datum for velocity spectrum, time-depth conversion and depth migration in depth domain.
To cope with these problems, we establish a floating datum in the whole area, and perform staticcorrection with refraction static correction.

Through selecting floated datum level and using feasible multi-step staticcorrection combination, the static correction problem of long and short wave field was basically solved.
