The feasibility, cost and theoretic basis of the continuous extrusion process for producing tin brass weld wire are studied with its technological process and the design of extrusion dies introduced.

The advanced development process flow of "converter-small billet continuous casting machine-high speed wire rod mill" is adopted in developing EH14 wire rod for weld.
