Traditional well-test models for liquid flow are not consistent with material balance equation.

In the calculation of shock temperature by using isentropic curve, an isentropic equation which is consistent with the Hugoniot curve is developed.

The results show that both the equation calculated values and graphic solutions of this formula are consistent with experimental results.
