As an important class of hybrid dynamical systems, a switched system is composed of several continuous time subsystems or discrete time subsystems and the switching signal among them.
At first, the application background of Kalman filter theory is introduced. Then, discrete Kalman filter equations are derived, and state equations of continuoussystem are discreted.
As a timed event graph (TEG) only having narrow modeling range, a hybrid event graph (HEG) was put forward to describe discrete and continuous events in a manufacturing system.
