The whole finite element model includes 5 nodes and 5 elements, and these element types are D. C. motor element, reduction gear element, beam element, crank element and buffer element.

And it also contains a motor side-generator, the rotor connecting with crank outlet of the motor and the driving element of the electrically-controlled clutch simultaneously.

In this paper, the strength problem is solved for the crank shaft with a big radius circular cross-section and small eccentricity by using spacial finite element method.
