Aluminum-doped zinc oxide (ZAO) ceramic targets for sputtering were fabricated by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) and ZAO transparent conducting thin films were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering.

The oxygen ionic conducting properties of the ceramic specimens were examined by impedance spectroscopy analysis.

The conducting property of this composite ceramic material was explained with percolation model.
