Comparing this spectrograph to the one with a holographic concave grating on spherical surface, the former has a higher resolution than the latter has when the widths of the incident slits are same.

Based on the holographic concave grating theory and ZEMAX software, an aberration-corrected flat-field holographic concave grating on aspherical surface for a flat-field spectrograph is designed.
