The yield of the oligogalacturonic acid was more than 54.3%, mainly with a degreeofpolymerization (DP) 2 and 3, the yields of which were 26.7% and 27.6% respectively.
The double mutation also reduced short (degreeofpolymerization (DP) 5–6) and long (DP 12–23) amylopectin chain contents in the grain and increased the medium long types (DP 7–11).
