Based on a quantitative study on the quenching function of tritium contaminated -machine pump oil, a graphic, extrapolation method was proposed to determine tritium in the contaminated oil.

This paper proposes a novel method to obtain a simple analytical solution to extrapolation problem for band-limited signals, which is much easier than prolate spherical wave function expansion method.

It is confirmed that exponential function extrapolation contributes much to the improvement of inverted temperature; however it does much less for pressure inversion.
